Heidi Klum is a German actor born on 1st June 1973. Erna Klum is her hairdresser's mom. The father of Heidi Gunther Klum worked as a company's executive in the field of cosmetics. Heidi's father worked as Director of Production for the fragrance firm 4711. Born in Bergisch Gladbach (a city of about 100,000 residents, just 6 miles to the to the west of Cologne), Heidi was raised in the city. German-American fashion model who is TV host, now a businesswoman and fashion designer. Karin was a friend of the 18-year old student in the time, urged Klum to take part in an German talent show called Model 92. It was part of a Thomas Gottschalk hosted late night talk program. Klum was competing against thousands of other contestants across Germany as well as Europe, until she reached the semi-finals. In April of 1992, Klum was awarded a top prize of $300,000.
