Winona-Ryder

Winona Ryder (born Winona Laura Hornowitz) was born in Winona Minnesota. Her parents named her after her hometown. Michel Horowitz was her father and Cynthia Palmer, his mother are both authors as well as editors. Ryder's father came from the Jewish family Ryder believes she is Jewish. Uria is Ryder's younger sister. Jubal, Sunyata and Sunyata are her half-siblings. Ryder's family relocated to Mendocino County, California, when she was just 7 years old. There wasn't electricity. Ryder who read a lot when she was 12 became a book worm because Ryder did not have access to television. Ryder began taking acting lessons at the American Conservatory Theatre in 1983, when she was 12 years old. Ryder landed her first film role on the big screen in 1986, at the age of 15 young. Ryder faced bullying during her high school years. She hoped that her career in acting would alter this. However, it didn't come to pass. It didn't stop her from pursuing dreams. Beetlejuice the 1988 Tim Burton film, was her debut big break. Ryder had a successful role in various films. In 1993 Ryder was twice nominated for Academy Awards. One of them for her role In The Age of Innocence.
