Nancy Wilson and Maisie Richardson
Nancy Wilson is a Grammy Award winner in jazz. She was born the 20th of February, 1937 in Chillicothe OH to Olden Wilson who worked at an ironworks and Lillian Ryan, a former domestic worker. Nancy was the eldest of six kids. Nancy was greatly influenced as a girl by the music her dad enjoyed and loved playing at home. At just 4 an age, she knew that she was going to be a star in the singing world. The talent she developed was cultivated through her participation in the choir at church. After high school when she started appearing regularly on Skyline Melodies. She was fifteen when she won the television talent show. The same year, she began to work in nightclubs. Following her graduation from high school the 17-year old Nancy matriculated for one year at Ohio's Central State College now Central State University prior to going on to become a professional singer. Her first recording was with Rusty Bryant's Carolyn Club Big Band in 1956. The group performed from 1956 until 1958. Nancy's very first Dot Records recording was made when she was a member of the Carolyn Club Big Band. Cannonball Adderley advised her that she needed to relocate to New York to further her career, and she moved there to The Big Town at the end of the year 1959. Adderley's Agent heard her at The Blue Morocco Night Club, Boston Road, The Bronx and she signed. Within one month of her arrival in New York City. In 1960, he signed her to Capitol Records and in that same year she issued her first single. Guess Who Saw Today. Her albums were a hit and Capitol issued 5 Nancy Wilson albums in two years. She initially focused on rhythm and blues, under Adderley's influence she moved away from R&B and began to embrace jazz and torch songs. Nancy Wilson's collaboration in 1962 together with Cannonball Adderley propelled her to the top of the charts, and in 1963, she had her debut hit Tell Me the Truth. The performance helped her land a gig at the New York Coconut Grove in 1963, America's most popular nightclub.
Maisie is an English television as well as film actor. Her most well-known role is the actress who played Chloe Winthrop (the lead) in Netflix's The Kissing Booth. She is she played King Saul Israel's Daughter Michal in ABC Biblical series Of Kings and Prophets. Alongside that she's appeared in numerous famous TV shows, including The Originals, Legends of Tomorrow, Group Chat with Annie and Jayden etc. Birth & Family Maisie Richardson-Sellers, born February 2, 1992, in England, United Kingdom. Joy Richardson was her mother. She was a student at an elite private school before graduating from Oxford University. She is a graduate of Oxford University with a qualification in Archaeology. Maisie began as an actor in 2012 as part of Our First World. Ellie was a part of the cast in the 2013 short film Americano and Rum. In 2015, Korr Sella appeared as a cameo in Short Wars The Force Awakens. She acted as Chloe Winthrop in Netflix's original film The Kissing Booth Season 2 & 3.
